Phil Rubinstein, J-Teen Director
Phillip Rubinstein left his hometown of Los Angeles in 2006 to study at the University of Colorado in Boulder.  Active in the University's Hillel, Phil quickly became involved in the broader Jewish community, leading local services and teaching at Congregation Har HaShem.  His involvement expanded as he began offering B'nai Mitzvah and Torah tutoring in addition to his teaching duties at Har HaShem.  In 2009, Phil began teaching at Boulder Hebrew High and in August of the following year he was brought on as the part-time J-Teen coordinator under Sara Goldberg, previous J-Teen Director.  Phil still continues to teach on the side, and looks forward to working with the JCC and the Jewish youth of Boulder and surrounding areas.
