Summer Lego® Camps
Let your imagination run wild with over 100,000 pieces of LEGO®! Build engineer designed projects such as boats, bridges, mazes, and motorized cars. Explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor.

Young Jedi will explore worlds far, far away and engineering principles right in front of them. Defeat the Empire by designing and refining X-Wings, R2-units, and settlements on far-flung edges of the galaxy. Imagination and engineering combine to create motorized and architectural projects such as energy catapults, shield generators and defense turrets. Design and build machines powered by alternative energy sources. Race solar cars, build a wind-powered electrical generation facility, enter the human powered vehicle competition, and invent a machine powered by stored elastic strain energy. Instruction will be provided by staff, but familiarity with LEGO® Technic is desirable.

The Force is strong in this class. Build complex machines and structures based on the best designs from a galaxy far, far away. Projects include X-Wings, AT-AT walkers, Pod Racers, Star Destroyers, Cloud Cities, settlements, and fortresses. Play-Well’s Jedi instructors reinforce key engineering concepts such as gear trains, worm drives, pneumatics, eccentric motion and more as students tap into the powerful forces of imagination and engineering.

Have fun learning, building, and experimenting with paper airplanes, helicopters, parachutes, rockets, and a wide variety of aerospace designs. This class will assist you in becoming a master paper airplane mechanic and foster building skills that will last a lifetime.

Come join us for a class like no other! Choose from several different RC vehicles for indoor/outdoor use, scale racing track, and mountainous obstacle courses. We have hi-speed racing sedans, stadium trucks, rock crawlers, and drift cars all for you to have fun with. Together we'll create challenging terrain for the powerful rock crawlers and then speed things up with a fast-paced, customizable racetrack complete with jumps. We'll also have RC flight simulators teaching you how to successfully fly plus slot cars and different educational hobbies.

Growing Gardens
Enjoy the fruits of the harvest this week! We'll cook using the power of the sun and explore the five senses through tasting in the garden. We'll snack on salsa, pizza, and edible strawberry and flower beds. We'll create garden recipes to share at home!

Bugs, Butterflies, Bees- Oh my! Spend five fun-filled days exploring the world of bugs, butterflies, and bees in the garden. KidzArt
At KidzArt Camp, a child's self-expression and self-esteem will soar! This summer, give your child the opportunity to learn drawing skills in a supportive atmosphere that will last a lifetime through fun art exercises and techniques that anyone can follow. Students will be encouraged to experiment with a wide variety of mediums, including three-dimensional sculpture, unique surfaces and more.

Be a rock star!! This camp is a fun-filled way to get an idea of all the pieces that go into a professional musical performance. You will get a chance to rehearse with your own band and perform "cover" tunes, write and perform an original song, and create a band name, logo, and t-shirt. Each student band will also have a chance to record their songs in our professional studio and receive a CD of their band's performance at the end of camp.

This is an extraordinary opportunity for girls to build a community where they can celebrate th eir authentic selves. Activities include theater games & improv, crafts, sports, interactive workshops and small group discussions.

Boulder Indoor Soccer
Boulder Rapids YouthSoccer Camp
5-10 years
Boulder Indoor Soccer has been offering camps for fourteen years! The camps give players a full week of training, utilizing a wide variety of experienced and licensed coaches. Boulder Indoor Soccer’s Owner / Director of Coaching, Peter Ambrose, former Head coach of Colorado Rapids U-23 USL/PDL team, and his staff provide professional training sessions for all ages. Using a 1:10 ratio of staff to campers, Each player will be taught the technical skills of soccer, along with match related activities and small sided games.

Experience RMDC at the JCC in a 1-week sports sampler where campers will experience sports the RMDC way. Each day, play 2-3 different sports such as baseball, basketball, football, frisbee, team handball, kickball, lacrosse, RMDCball, and much more!

Based on the first novel of Rick Riordan's popular Percy Jackson and the Olympian Series, this workshop will offer a week of amazing theatrical adventures. Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of boarding school...again. And, mythological monsters and the gods of Mount Olympus seem to be walking straight out of the pages of Percy's Greek mythology textbook and into his life. Spend a fun week making this story come alive! Perfomance will be on Friday afternoon.

Musical Globetrotters
ages 5-10
Join musician and recording artist Sheldon Sands for a week of exploring music from around the globe. Kids will be exposed to the musical traditions and instruments of Northern Africa, the Middle East, and the US.
