A Colorado native, CU alum, and Conference on World Affairs veteran, Dave Grusin is esteemed worldwide as a composer, pianist, arranger, producer, bandleader, and record label executive. With 10 Grammy wins and 80 nominations, eight Academy Award nominations and one win, four Golden Globe Nominations, and an Emmy nomination, Grusin is revered in jazz circles and is a living legend in Hollywood for scoring classics such as “On Golden Pond,” “Tootsie,” “The Fabulous Baker Boys,” and his Oscar-winning “The Milagro Beanfield War,” which will be shown prior to the festival on Sunday, March 1, at 3:30 pm, in the Boe.
