Virtual: Sweet and Savory Kugel Class

Date: September 16, 2020
Time: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Kugel is a baked pudding or casserole, with some combination of vegetables and a starch-usually held together with an egg mixture. It is a traditional Ashkenazi Jewish dish, often served on Shabbat and Jewish holidays because it is easy to make in advance and reheat. Join experienced home cooks and life long southerners Sue Ann Lipsey and Ira Lipsey (mom and brother of Nancy Lipsey) live from Memphis, TN as they prepare one sweet and one savory kugel for your Rosh Hashanah table. You will receive the recipes in advance so you can cook along if you wish. Sue Ann will teach you how to make a Carrot Kugel and Cornbread Dressing the traditional way and also with the gluten free adjustments.
