[VIRTUAL] Anat Hoffman: Women of the Wall and the Struggle for Religious Pluralism in Israel with Congregation Bonai Shalom

Date: April 25, 2021
Time: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

In 1988, Women of the Wall began praying together monthly at the Western Wall, the holiest site in Judaism. For more than 30 years, Women of the Wall has led the struggle for women’s rights to pray at the Western Wall with tallit, tefillin, and the Torah, enduring harassment and arrests. Please join us when Anat Hoffman, leader of Women of the Wall since its inception and Executive Director of the Israel Religious Action Center starting in 2002, shares her experiences at the forefront of the effort to advance religious pluralism in the State of Israel.
