[IN-PERSON] Weaving Workshop - Set of Placemats

Date: March 29, 2022
Time: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Come weave a set of four coordinating and reversible cotton placemats from one warp! Students will be provided with a simple weft float pattern as well as four colors of 3/2 Perle cotton. Each of the placemats will be hemstitched on the loom making this a no sewing required project. Come enjoy the beauty of weaving with cotton while continuing to hone your pick-up stick skills and creating a wonderful addition to your dining room table!

Sara Goldenberg White has been teaching weaving along the Front Range for over a decade. Her passion for weaving and teaching started during her graduate study at Colorado State University. She teaches a variety of fiber techniques but sharing her love of weaving with others is one of her greatest joys. Sara coauthored Simple Woven Garments 20+ Projects to Weave and Wear with Jane Patrick. Sara also has a lively fine arts practice and has exhibited her work at museums and galleries throughout the country. Sara enjoys the balance of creating her own work and sharing her love of weaving in the classroom, she looks forward to seeing you there!
