Virtual: "Changing the World One Word at a Time": Read Aloud and Conversation with Kwame Alexander NY Times Best-Selling Author

Join us for this important read aloud and conversation with Kwame Alexander, New York Times best-selling children's and young adult author of 34 books. Mr. Alexander will read and discuss The Undefeated, a book and poem that is a love letter to Black life in the U.S. The book is about the unspeakable trauma of slavery, the faith and fire of the Civil Rights Movement, and the endurance and spirit of those surviving and thriving in the present. The event will be moderated by Jinnie Spiegler, ADL Education's Director of Curriculum and Training, and Marsha Frith, Education Director Florida Region. Q&A with the author will follow the presentation.
