Wish you could replace buttons, fix a hem, or make small repairs to clothing? Learn the basics of hand stitching in this one-night workshop. Armed with a variety of stitches— slip stitch, whipstitch, cross stitch, and basting stitch— you'll walk out with the skills and knowledge you need to mend it right!

Instructor: Lisa Ray
Lisa Ray grew up just outside of Boulder and attended CU, where she earned a BFA in Costume Design and Technology. As the Costume Shop Foreman for the CU Boulder Theatre Costume Shop for four years, she also taught several courses, including Costume Technology, Costume Construction, and Costume Crafts. Today she works at the Boulder JCC and enjoys sewing and crafting skills in her spare time.
