Date: February 9, 2020Time: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Contact: Jodi ZicklinEmail: Jodi.Zicklin@boulderjcc.org
A fusion of science and art, explore the potential of fusible glass art. During this hands-on class, we'll start with the basics and learn how to plot, cut, and assemble fusible glass. Mad laboratory discussions about glass coefficients, how glass behaves at different temperatures, and bubble control teach the properties of glass. Students create five to seven pendant-sized glass pieces for flat fusing. The glass art will be kiln-fired overnight and ready for pick-up the following week.
Instructor: Kammi Siemens
