Lemon Sponge Contemporary Ballet is to present SIX FEET APART, a progressive performance project, at Holiday Park in NOBO Arts District. Internationally recognized choreographer Robert Sher-Machherndl will be joined by collaborator Jasmine Francisco, of Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, to perform a socially distanced duet. Holiday Park is surround by homes which have terraces or balconies facing a park set in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Residents will be invited to the south east corner of the park, or to their outside spaces, to witness SIX FEET APART a unique 18 minute performance. SIX FEET APART will be illuminated using hand held spotlights, incorporated in the choreography, becoming part of the piece’s direction. The project will be captured through a multi camera shoot by local filmmaker. SIX FEET APART keeps in accordance with current lockdown conditions, social distancing and masks for your safety. It’s made possible by The Office of Arts + Culture, Creative Neighborhoods and Holiday Neighborhood.
