In-person: Create a Honey Pot for Rosh Hashanah

Date: August 30, 2020
Time: 9:30 am - 10:30 am

Program designed for families with children ages 3+

Join our very own beekeeper, Tzuria Malpica, for a show and tell session while painting a honey pot for Rosh Hashanah. Through storytelling and visual props, Tzuria will help us understand the role of the beloved honey bee in food production and the sweet bi-product, honey. Then be guided by our artist in residence, Joy Alice Eisenhauer, on glazing and decorating your one of a kind honey pot.

This program will be in-person at the Boulder JCC and is limited to 8 participants in a household per table in each specific time slot. All participants in a time slot will be registered by one person. We will meet outside on the Grant Patio and follow all of the Boulder JCC's Health and Safety Protocols.

Don''t miss out on some of Tzuria's Local Raw Honey! Wild Heart Herbals and Nimbus Road Apiary work together to bring you exquisite Local Raw Honey. Their bees pollinate and forage local farms, wild flowers and fruit trees to bring you delicious honey to sweeten the New Year. Purchase a 16oz jar for $16.28 (includes tax) when you register.

All in person programs follow the Boulder JCC's Health and Safety Protocols.
