Time: 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Co-facilitated by Lori Dube and Shelley Levine
Participants aged 60 and up are welcome
We recommend purchasing the book Wise Aging by Rabbi Rachel Cowan before starting the October 15 class

In this group, you will be guided through reflective work to bring new understandings and perspectives about your life, self, values, and Jewish practices. Learning modes include guided conversation, text study, active listening, meditation and meditative movement, exercises, reflection, and journaling. We will meet for 6 sessions to learn, share experiences and acquire skills for making changes that lead to a deeper sense of well-being. Some areas we may look at are perceptions and stereotypes, living with loss and change, cultivating relationships, retirement, death, and creating a legacy. Wise Aging is based on the groundbreaking work of Rabbi Rachel Cowan and Dr. Linda Thal.
