[IN-PERSON] Cultural Caravan Outdoor Musical Performance

The Cultural Caravan presents our first in-person music event of the year. This eclectic outdoor concert will include everything from Bach to bluegrass and folk to Brazilian music. Featuring Joshua Halpern on cello, Andrew Wilder, on guitar, and Paul Erhard on bass.

The seating arrangements for the concert are first come first serve, by the household. At the Boulder JCC a household is defined by everyone living at your address. Each household needs to register separately. Every person in your household should be listed in your Jconnect account. If they are not listed, please add them from the Account Profile page, and be sure to add in their birthdays.

Joshua Halpern  
Joshua Halpern, cello has appeared on stages around the world as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral principal cellist. Josh completed graduate studies at The Curtis Institute in Philadelphia, where he performed throughout the United States, Europe and Latin America with Curtis On Tour, and was principal cello of the Curtis Symphony Orchestra

 


Andrew Wilder 
Andrew Wilder, guitar, is currently pursuing a DMA in Guitar Performance at the University of Colorado Boulder. Wilder has given concerts throughout the United States and Mexico, Europe, and South America. He has also been the recipient of several awards, including the First Prize in the Guitar Competition of Society of American Musicians, First Prize in the International Tennessee Guitar Competition, and First Prize in the University of Louisville International Guitar Competition.


 

Paul Erhard 
Paul Erhard, bass, is a soloist, chamber musician, and improviser. He premiered the Subramaniam Double Concerto for violin and double bass with the composer on violin and the CU Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gary Lewis. Paul is the professor of double bass at the CU Boulder College of Music.

This is a free event and advanced registration is required. No walk-ups will be permitted.
Registrants will be emailed Covid health and safety protocols prior to the program.
This is a leave no trace program, zero-waste event. You must leave with what you bring.
