[VIRTUAL] Yom Ha'atzmaut Lecture: The Humans of Tel Aviv
Date: May 6, 2022Time: 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
Photojournalism combines with digital storytelling to showcase Israel’s diversity, multiculturalism, and vibrant civil society. Thought-provoking photographs and personal stories give daily glimpses into the lives of total strangers - Ultra-Orthodox Jews, Muslims, and Christians alongside the LGBTQ+ community, refugees from Africa right next to the posh residents of Rothschild Boulevard – weaving together a sense of Tel Aviv’s shared humanity. Presented in partnership with Miles Nadal JCC’s Israeli Connection and Adult Daytime Culture and Education. Generously sponsored by the UJA Federation’s Emerging Communities Committee.
