[VIRTUAL] Still Shabbat Meditation

This “Still Shabbat" meditation offers a slow-paced, less-is-more, mindful entry into our weekly Shabbat tradition.  In our 30-minutes together we will share time for silent meditation, a teaching from Shabbat liturgy or the weekly Torah portion, and music to create a space to tap into our individual Shabbat experiences. Each meeting will end with a brief opportunity for sharing, and the recitation of the Mourners’ Kaddish.  We’ll explore a mode of Jewish spirituality that relates to Shabbat as a day to rest, renew and simply be. No experience with
Hebrew, Shabbat practice, or meditation is necessary; all are welcome. Still Shabbat will be facilitated by Lori and Monte Dube, who have been leading daily morning meditations throughout the Pandemic, each of whom is certified Jewish Mindfulness Meditation teachers by the Institute for Jewish Spirituality.
